Founder and Managing Director of Kyren Group, Theo Samaras is a pioneer in apartment living in Adelaide and a visionary industry identity celebrating more than 30 years in construction. He started his own structural steel business which led him into commercial development. To this day he is personally involved in every one of his developments and it’s his hands-on approach throughout the life of all of our projects which ensures exceptional standards are always achieved. With extensive expertise in construction, planning and management, Theo retains enormous passion for development and champions a highly ethical approach to business, always delivering on his promises. A member of the MBA and part of the Property Council, he not only supports the building and property industries, he also contributes regularly to many charitable organisations close to his heart.
Responsible for the management of all existing Kyren Group property assets, Steven Kotzias is an accomplished Project Manager who has worked for some of Australia’s leading developers. His vast experience has seen him fulfill key roles across acquisition, design, finance and project and construction management on sizeable residential, retail, hotel, industrial, government and commercial fit-out and construction projects. Steven’s experience is crucial to delivering projects on time and budget and his strong background in property management, leasing, sustainability and asset management is an enormous advantage. Meticulous in his attention to detail, Steven is actively involved in all facets of the business.
Project Manager John Besir has over 10 years of experience in the commercial construction industry. With roles in site engineering broadened to contract management, he has been involved in a number of significant projects around Australia including the $1.2B Perth Children’s Hospital and the $300M Calvary Adelaide Hospital. He is recognised for his integrity and strong leadership. John is currently leading the way on-site bringing to life the Frome Central project, Adelaide’s tallest building and home to the Crowne Plaza and Adelaidean. A details-oriented, technically minded professional who supports strong teamwork, John is a driven industry figure for whom “can’t be done” doesn’t exist, ultimately finding a solution for every situation.
Marissa Stavrou has more than a decade of experience as a Marketing Manager within the building industry and a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing and Management from The University of Adelaide to her name. Highly organised and confident with a dynamic personality well suited to the fast-paced development arena, Marissa is a strategic thinker who brings a creative edge to her role. Liaising and collaborating with the sales team to identify marketing opportunities, Marissa oversees Kyren’s day-to-day advertising and promotional activities and long-term marketing strategy to ensure the company’s current and future objectives are met.
Since joining Kyren Group, Natasha has been actively involved in a variety of areas within the company. Proactive and enthusiastic, she has a diverse range of skills that can be adapted not only to administration and accounts but to the wider company requirements. Natasha has been working on contract coordination, property management and assisting with project administration and settlements. Conscientious and hard working, she offers reliable support to the team. Liaising with our Project Managers, Natasha enjoys the opportunity to learn the business from the ground up.
